Sino-Pack & China Drinktec become Elements of Success

Packaging & Beverage Industries are urged to improve Technology      

The production value of the packaging industry in China grew from 7.2 billion in the eighties to 250 billion in 2001. The industry has undergone huge changes. Even a domestic company does not involve in foreign markets, they still cannot avoid competition from companies outside China. According to China Packaging Technology Association (CPTA), to promote the development of technology within the industry becomes their first priority (pack.net.cn). The aims of Sino-Pack 2002 and China Drinktec 2002 just fit the goal of CPTA. The themes of the exhibits include food, daily chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging equipment, latest technology and machines for inkjet and bar-code printing, the entire technology from processing to packaging lines on turnkey projects, high-speed packaging and labeling machines, high quality packaging films and adhesives, advanced technology on the processing and packaging for beverage and brewery products and machines for PET blow molding and filtering systems and testing equipment.

Sino-Pack 2002 and China Drinktec 2002 also set up concurrent symposiums in order to meet the different needs of trade visitors. Topics include "Advanced Technology on Beverage and Brewery Production and Packaging", "High Standard and Safe Packaging for Daily Chemical/Pharmaceutical Products" and "Effective E-logistics Solution/supply Chain Management Symposium". Renowned companies and organization such as Norit Process/Haffmans, Burkert Contromatic, Domino Coding, Jebsen and Hong Kong Packaging Institute are going to share their experience on above topics.

Organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., co-organized by the Guangdong Packaging Technology Association and the Guangdong Provincial Light Industry Association and supported by Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) and a number of Chinese associations, Sino-Pack 2002 and China Drinktec 2002 have attracted 100 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, including China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Italy, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan Province, USA and UK.
