The New Generation of Innoket Roland Labellers
integrates Tax Revenue Stamp and Quality Seal Labelling

The new generation of Innoket Roland 10/4 S 8 labellers implements application of body, shoulder, and back labels as well as tax revenue stamps for the first time in a single unit.

The Innoket Roland 10/4 S 8 uses the wet glue and/or combined wet glue and self-adhesive methods of labelling and is equipped with two labelling stations. While the first labelling station applies body and shoulder labels, the second labelling station processes back labels and tax revenue stamps. Optionally available is a 16-station rotary machine equipped with three labelling stations that enables users to apply an additional dressing.

Exact label transfer to the bottle necks is essential when processing tax revenue stamps. This was achieved by the development of a special vacuum tong drum. The position of tax revenue stamp is fixed on the bottle neck as well as on the centering bell in the rotary operation labeller. An additional application device holds the label in place on the neck as soon as the bottle is transferred to the discharge star. The label material is then laid over the closure by a roller and rolled on the bottle neck to the end of the stamp by a cam-controlled sponge rubber roller. A 530-mm diameter discharge starwheel is used to ensure a sufficiently long tax stamp application period. Inkjet or laser coding is applied during the labelling process.

The modular design of the labeller guarantees flexibility. The so very essential demand for convenience is met through quick format part changeover.

Aside from tax revenue stamp labelling, the new generation of labellers can be optimally used for special applications such as labelling clip-lock beer bottles, applying quality seal labels, or promotion labels attached to bottle necks.

The Innoket Roland 10/4 S 8 is designed for a wide variety of bottle shapes and sizes. Bottle sizes can range from 0.2 liters up to 3 liters - they are all doable. The labeller is capable of processing glass as well as plastic bottles. The approximate output capacity is 12,000 bottles per hour.
